About Split PDF by Page Count
Split PDF by Page Count cuts a document into several smaller PDFs, either in fixed-size chunks of N pages or at the exact pages you name. The parts are delivered as a ZIP, with file names showing the page range each one covers.
When it helps
- Separating a scanned batch of two-page forms into one file per form
- Breaking a large report into chapters at known page numbers
- Keeping each upload under a portal's page or size limit
Tips
- 'Every N pages' gives equal chunks. The last file holds whatever is left over, so 25 pages split every 10 gives files of 10, 10 and 5 pages.
- In 'After specific pages' mode, enter the last page of each part. 3, 7, 12 produces parts 1-3, 4-7, 8-12 and 13 to the end.
- Settings that would produce only one file, such as a chunk size bigger than the document, are rejected instead of returning a copy.
