About HEIC to PDF
HEIC to PDF converts iPhone and iPad photos (HEIC or HEIF) into a PDF, one photo per page. HEIC files often won't open on Windows or in upload forms, and a PDF is accepted almost everywhere. The photos are decoded in your browser, so even pictures of personal documents stay on your device.
When it helps
- Submitting photos of an ID, lease or medical form taken on an iPhone to a site that wants PDF
- Sharing several iPhone photos with a Windows user as one file
- Archiving photographed receipts or notes from your camera roll
Tips
- Decoding HEIC is processor-intensive, so large batches of full-resolution photos take a while. Converting fewer photos per run is faster.
- Photos are stored losslessly inside the PDF and can be large. Set Max dimensions to around 2000 to 2500 px for documents.
- Each page takes the photo's dimensions. Use Resize PDF Pages afterwards for A4 or Letter output.
