About Case Converter
Switch text between twelve letter cases in one step, from everyday UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case and Sentence case to the naming styles programmers use: camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE and dot.case. There are also aLtErNaTiNg and iNVERSE modes for jokes and for fixing text typed with Caps Lock on.
When it helps
- Fixing a paragraph that was typed with Caps Lock on, using inverse or sentence case.
- Turning a list of field labels into snake_case column names or camelCase variable names.
- Making headings and product names consistent before publishing.
- Converting CSS class names to kebab-case or environment variable names to CONSTANT_CASE.
Tips
- Title Case here capitalizes the first letter of every word and lowercases the rest. It does not follow AP or Chicago rules that keep 'a', 'of' and 'the' lowercase, so fix those by hand if your style guide needs it.
- Title and sentence case lowercase the rest of each word, which changes acronyms and brand names like 'NASA' or 'iPhone'. Check those afterwards.
- The programming cases work line by line, so you can paste a whole list of names and get one converted identifier per line. Punctuation and spaces are dropped.
- Existing camelCase input is split at the capital letters, so 'userId' converts cleanly to 'user_id' or 'user-id'.

Quick answers about case converter in your browser.
Both join words without spaces and capitalize each word. camelCase keeps the first letter lowercase (firstName), while PascalCase capitalizes it too (FirstName). JavaScript variables usually use camelCase; class names in many languages use PascalCase.
Everything is lowercased, then the first letter of the text, of each new line, and of each word after a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark is capitalized. Names and the word 'I' will need fixing by hand.
