About Reverse Text
Reverse text in four ways: flip every character so the whole text reads backwards, reverse the order of lines, reverse the order of words on each line, or mirror the characters within each line while keeping line order. Emoji and accented letters are kept intact rather than broken apart.
When it helps
- Reversing a log or chat export so the newest entry is at the bottom, or the top.
- Making backwards text for puzzles, riddles and social media posts.
- Checking whether a word or phrase is a palindrome.
- Flipping a list that is in the wrong order without sorting it.
Tips
- 'Line order' keeps each line exactly as it is and only changes their order, which is the mode to use for lists.
- 'Word order (per line)' keeps punctuation attached to its word, so 'Hello, world!' becomes 'world! Hello,'.
- Backwards text is not upside-down text. For letters that look flipped, use the upside-down style in the fancy text generator.

Reverse all characters and compare the result with the original. Palindromes are usually judged ignoring spaces, punctuation and case, so remove those first with the case converter or find and replace.
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
