About Split PDF
Split PDF breaks a document into single pages. Each page is saved as its own PDF, and they're all delivered together in a ZIP. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and the quality doesn't change.
When it helps
- Separating a batch of scanned invoices or receipts that ended up in one file
- Sending one page of a contract to each signer or department
- Uploading individual pages to a portal that only accepts one-page files
Tips
- Files are named with the original name plus a zero-padded page number (page-001, page-002), so they stay in order when sorted.
- If you want chunks instead of single pages, for example every 10 pages or a cut after page 3, use Split PDF by Page Count.
- To pull out just a few pages as one file, Extract pages is quicker than splitting everything and deleting the rest.
