About EPUB to PDF
An EPUB is a ZIP archive of XHTML chapters plus a package file that lists their reading order. This tool follows that order, pulls the text out of each chapter and lays it out as a plain PDF with fixed pages. The result is a text-only document meant for printing, archiving or reading on a device that handles PDF but not EPUB.
When it helps
- Printing a public-domain novel or a self-published manuscript you have as EPUB.
- Sending a book draft to a reviewer whose reading app only opens PDF.
- Keeping a fixed-page copy of course notes or a manual distributed as EPUB.
- Annotating a text in a PDF markup tool that doesn't read ebooks.
Tips
- Only the text is carried over. Images, covers, tables, fonts and chapter styling are dropped, and headings become ordinary lines of text.
- The PDF uses a standard Latin font, so books in scripts such as Chinese, Arabic or Cyrillic may not convert. Western European text works best.
- If you need the original layout and pictures, convert to HTML instead and print that page from your browser.

Quick answers about epub to pdf in your browser.
No. DRM-protected EPUBs have encrypted chapter files, so there is no readable text to extract. This tool only works with DRM-free EPUBs, such as public-domain books, your own exports or titles sold without DRM.
The converter reads each chapter's text and writes it as wrapped lines on letter-size pages. It doesn't reproduce CSS, embedded images or tables, which keeps the output small and predictable but plain.
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you process.
No. Files are read and processed locally in your browser, so they never leave your device.
