Tips
- A quality setting in the 80-90% range is a good balance for photos. Drop lower only if file size matters more than fine detail.
- Transparent pixels are always flattened into the background color you pick. White is the default, so change it if the image will sit on a dark page.
- JPEG handles photos well but blurs sharp edges in text and line art. Screenshots full of text usually look cleaner kept as PNG.
