About Adjust Image Colors
Fine-tune a photo's brightness, contrast, saturation and hue with sliders, then save as PNG, JPG or WebP. It's good for quick corrections, like lifting a dark photo, adding punch to a flat one or shifting colors, without opening a full photo editor.
When it helps
- Brightening an underexposed indoor or evening photo.
- Boosting contrast and saturation on dull product shots.
- Shifting the hue of a graphic or icon to try out alternative color schemes.
- Desaturating an image partway for a muted, faded look.
Tips
- Small moves go a long way. Values of 10-25 on brightness or contrast are usually enough for a natural fix.
- Setting saturation to -100 gives a grayscale image while keeping your other adjustments.
- Hue shift rotates every color around the color wheel, so it's great for graphics but makes skin tones look unnatural.
