About Circle Crop
Crop an image into a perfect circle with a transparent background. The tool takes the largest square from the center of your image and masks it to a circle, producing a PNG ready for profile pictures, team pages and round thumbnails.
When it helps
- Making round avatars for Slack, Discord, GitHub or a personal website.
- Creating circular headshots for a team or speaker page.
- Producing round badges or stickers from a logo or photo.
Tips
- The crop is centered, so put your subject in the middle first. Use Crop Image to trim the edges if the face is off-center.
- The circle's diameter equals the image's shorter side, so a 1200x800 photo yields an 800x800 circle.
- Keep the output as PNG. JPG would fill the transparent corners with a solid color.
