About Merge Images
Combine two or more images into one, either side by side or stacked vertically, in the order you add them. Images can be scaled to match the largest or smallest one, or kept at their original sizes with alignment control. You can also set a gap and a background color or transparency.
When it helps
- Creating before-and-after comparisons for renovations, edits or design changes.
- Stitching several phone screenshots into one tall image of a conversation or long page.
- Combining product photos into a single image for a listing or social post.
Tips
- "Scale to match the largest" gives a clean edge-to-edge result. "Smallest" avoids enlarging small images, which keeps them sharp.
- Add a gap of 10-20 px with a white or dark background for a tidy comparison layout.
- Turn on transparent background with PNG or WebP output when the images have different sizes and you don't want filler color.
- Merging many large photos makes a very large image. Pick JPG output to keep the file size manageable.
