About Flip Image
Mirror an image horizontally, flip it upside down, or both at once. Flipping only reorders pixels, so detail isn't lost, and you can save the result as PNG, JPG or WebP.
When it helps
- Un-mirroring front-camera selfies so text and logos read the right way round.
- Making a left-facing product or person face right to fit a page layout.
- Preparing mirrored artwork for iron-on transfers or printing on the back of glass.
Tips
- Choose PNG to keep the image lossless and preserve transparency. JPG fills transparent areas with white.
- Flipping both horizontally and vertically gives the same result as rotating 180 degrees.
- Watch for text, watches and logos in the photo. They'll read backwards after a horizontal flip.
