About Watermark Image
Stamp a line of text such as your name, website or a copyright notice onto an image, positioned in the center or any corner. The text is drawn in bold white with a dark outline and scales with the image, so it stays readable on both light and dark photos.
When it helps
- Marking photos with your name or handle before posting them publicly.
- Labeling preview images sent to clients before final payment.
- Adding "SAMPLE" or "DRAFT" over an image so it isn't reused as a final asset.
- Stamping "Copy for verification only" on a photo of an ID before sending it.
Tips
- A centered watermark is harder to crop out. Corner placements are less distracting but easy to trim away.
- Keep the text short. The font size is set relative to the image's shorter side, so long text may run past the edges on narrow images.
- Keep the unwatermarked original. The watermark is part of the pixels and can't be removed later.
