About APNG to GIF
Convert an animated PNG (APNG) into an animated GIF. APNG supports 24-bit colour and smooth alpha transparency, but some apps, chat services and older software still only animate GIF. Each APNG frame is decoded and reduced to a 256-colour palette for the GIF.

Tips
- Expect some colour loss. APNG can show millions of colours per frame, while GIF is limited to 256, so gradients may show dithering.
- Soft, semi-transparent edges in an APNG do not carry over well, since GIF transparency is either fully on or fully off per pixel.
- The GIF uses the delay of the first APNG frame for every frame. If your APNG has variable timing, such as a long pause on the last frame, the GIF will play at an even pace.
